Homemade Gorgonzola Dressing

I love making homemade Gorgonzola dressing. Not only is it easy, but you can have chunks of cheese in it as big as you want. EEYYYEEESSS. This recipe I got from Nickson, a friend of mine on a cooking group.

It's really good and really easy.

 

Let's get to mixin' this up.

Bison Hotdish

Last night I was tired and didn't want to make a fuss over dinner. I had some defrosted ground bison so I thought I'd make a quick and easy dinner, or as my Minnesota friend calls it, a Hotdish.

Matilda Loves Laundry Day

Me, not so much.

I don't mind the sorting, the washing and the drying. I don't even mind the folding and putting it all away, well, that part's not my favorite, but I don't mind it. The part I really don't like about laundry day is it's also wet dog day.

My washer and dryer are outside. The wash water runs freely down into the field. Don't worry, I use an organic biodegradable laundry detergent.

Matilda has deemed the running stream of water her slip and slide.

She runs up and down,

as fast as she can

back and forth

gathering mud as she goes

OH CRUMB, she's going to want some hugs and kisses, I'm outta here.

Cheese Stuffed Potato with Yogurt Spice Paste Sesame Seed Crust

Geesh, the name of this recipe reminds me of the old Mc Donald's commercial "two all beef patties specialsaucelettucecheesepicklesonion on a sesame seed bun"

I picked out a couple of huge baking potatoes. Rubbed them with oil and sprinkled with sea salt, getting them ready for the oven.

 

C'mon, lets get the ingredients together.

Consumer Alert for Trader Joe's Shoppers

Trader Joe's is selling a product called Wasabi WOW. You must avoid these at all costs, they are evil.
You are enticed by the succulent soft dried cranberries, the crunchy saltiness of the almonds and the slight sweetness of the perfectly roasted peanuts, then you are lured back by the sweetness of the golden raisins.
Then it happens BAM!!!!!!!!!! your mouth is assaulted with a burning sensation, your eyes are watering and your ears are ringing. Through your tears you reach back into the bowl to hopefully pick out a sweet cranberry or raisin to soothe the assault upon your person. Here's where the evil-ness of it all comes in. Will you get a nice sweet fruit...a nice salty cruncy nut...something soothing..or another wasabi pea assault.
Oh the evil-ness of it all bwwwaahhhahahahahahahaha.

I want you to know that I thoroughly researched this by eating this bowl full all by myself before reporting.

Homemade biscuit mix A Bisquick alternative

When I made the Buttermilk Pie the other day I didn't have any biscuit mix the recipe called for, so I quickly mixed up a batch. Here's what I did.
